摘要
In this paper the results of cyclic and dynamic torsional shear tests, carried out to analyse the influence of lime addition on the pre-failure behaviour of a silty clayey sand, are presented. The influence of moulding water content and lime addition have been analysed in terms of initial shear modulus, Go, and damping ratio, D-0, and their variation with strain level. From experimental data, it was observed that lime addition induces an increment of stiffness and a reduction of damping ratio as well as a modification of soil behaviour under repeated loading. The effectiveness of lime addition depends on the compaction moisture water content.
