摘要
Rising to the challenge: A reliable, stable, safe, and low-cost method of producing H2 from H2O is needed so that this high-energy-density gas can serve as a cleaner source of energy, particularly for low-temperature fuel-cell-powered devices. An atomically dispersed Pt catalyst (see picture) recently developed on an inexpensive and inert support could well hold the key. Copyright © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
