SENSITIVITY OF GNSS-R DELAY-DOPPLER MAPS TO WIND DIRECTION WITH A DECONVOLUTION APPROACH

摘要
Sensitivity of delay-Doppler maps to wind direction is assessed after a deconvolution operation based on a constrained least squares algorithm. The wind direction is estimated using a first-order Taylor expansion of the scattered power function, which leads to an over-determined linear system of equations that is solved with an LS approach. The performance are evaluated under ideal conditions and the sensitivity of the algorithm to wind direction variations is shown.
