High-tech Virtual Enterprise: a New Organizational Mode

The organizational innovation is the exhaustless power for enterprises development, and high-tech enterprises are faced with the fast changing and personal market demand. So high-tech enterprises need innovating continuously in organization. According to the features of high-tech enterprises and virtual enterprise organization theory, this paper presents high-tech virtual enterprise (HTVE) organizational mode which can adapt market change preferably. Utilizing the theory of value chain, the forming reasons for high-tech virtual enterprise and the value-added activities in its integrated value chain are analyzed. The connotation and advantage of HTVE are explained. Then the operational process and the type of HTVE are described in detail. Finally the key management problems to guarantee its successful operation are pointed out. HTVE can provide a new organization operational platform for high-tech enterprises to exert their own core capability and integrate the resources outside, so as to promote competition ability and develop much faster. HTVE may become the viable and salient solution for high-tech enterprises in the years to come.
