摘要
In the rapidly developing market of the automotive industry, cutting-edge technologies are being intro-duced, which is why Higher Education Institutions must update traditional training models to increase the skills and abilities of graduates. Universities in-vest a great deal of resources to train their students in the complexities of these technologies. To cope with such rising training costs, automotive careers have recently begun to shift their focus to e -lear-ning systems. The scientific literature indicates that e-learning adds a set of skills for students of the Automotive Engineering career. The objective of this study is to analyze the importance of the implementa-tion of electronic learning in the automotive teaching of Higher Education students. A survey was conduc-ted among teachers at the Universidad Autonoma de los Andes, in Ecuador. The results coincide with the need to integrate e-learning techniques and tools to perform virtual verification and validation tests in the automotive field.
