The study on the absorption process of CO2 in K2CO3 solution with promoters

摘要
In this paper was studied the intensification of the absorption process in pilot type columns in the presence of the reaction promoters. The absorption column was 1500 mm in height, 80 mm in diameter and was filled in 15 mm ceramic balls. The computer has controlled, through an interface, the main parameters of the process. In order to increase the speed of the mass transfer in the chemosorption processes, the so-called promoters of the reaction were being used. This study has overseen the absorption of CO2 in K2CO3 promoter's free solutions and in solutions with promoters, as diethanolamin (HO-CH2-CH2) NH (DEA),'triethanolamin(HO-CH2-CH2)(3)N (TEA) and 2-(2aminoetoxi)-ethanol (H2N-CH2-CH2-O-CH2-CH2-OH) (AMET). The concentration was set at 1,5%. The experiments shed light on the uses of promoters.
