This article addresses the mutual dependence between Stimmung and understanding. This essential link will serve as a frame of reference for a reflection on the structural relationship between wonder (Er-Staunen), mystery, and the sublime (das Sublime). These three concepts are conceived in a non-traditional sense, which will make it possible to link them with the Heideggerian concept of truth alpha lambda eta theta epsilon iota alpha. Finally, the work points out the possible implications that the current global civilization, characterized by the predominance of calculating thinking and Gestell, has on the wonder, mystery, and sublime. And, in reference to these implications, the article asks if the zeitgeist of technical predominance has a specific Stimmung.
