摘要
Two-photon polymerization is shown to offer much promise as a method for the fabrication of three-dimensional micro- and submicrostructures, including structures with a periodically modulated refractive index. Characteristic parameters of two-photon polymerization such as the rate of polymerization and the minimum exposure, are estimated. The possible application of two-photon polymerization in the bulk of a medium to fabricate three-dimensional photonic crystals in the optical range is discussed.
