An Empirical Study on the Factors Influencing Regional Financial Development in China

From the perspective of financial contract, the empirical analysis on the influence of economic base, marketization of financial system and credit environment on the regional financial development has been made in this paper. The empirical test has shown the influence of economic base, marketization of financial system and credit environment on the regional financial development is significant at the level of 0.000, among which the influence of financial marketization is most important and the economic base comes after. Given this condition, the following policy proposals are proposed in this paper: promoting the reformation on marketization of financial system further; strengthening credibility construction and creating favorable credit environment.
