THE GLOSSES (1936) TO "OF THE ESSENCE OF THE FOUNDATION" (1929). ON THE "IMMANENT CRITIQUE" IN MARTIN HEIDEGGER

The article analyzes the handwritten notes Heidegger made in 1936 on his copy of Vom Wesen des Grundes (1929). They are a significant instance of the immanent criticism to which Heidegger submits the question of being as expressed in Sein and Zeit. There emerges an awareness of an aporia that is internal to the concept of ontological difference. Significant traces of this decisive turn in Heideggerian thought can be found in the Beitrage zur Philosophie as well as in other texts from the same period.
