摘要
The new glass system of holmium doped lithium lead borate glasses were prepared by conventional melt quenching technique. The thermal stability of the different compositions of Ho3+ ions doped lithium lead borate glasses were studied by using TG-DTA. The T-g values are ranging from 439 to 444 degrees C with respect to the holmium concentration. Physical parameters like polaron radius(r(p)), inter-nuclear distance (r(i)), field strength (F) and polarizability (alpha(m)) of oxide ions were calculated using appropriate formulae.
