TEMPORAL AND SPATIAL DIFFERENCES IN ENVIRONMENTAL CARRYING CAPACITY OF ECO-TOURISM RESOURCES IN JILIN PROVINCE

With Jilin Province of China as the study area, this paper constructed an index system, used the entropy weight method to calculate the index weight, and adopted the synthetical index method to calculate the Environmental carrying capacity (ECC) of the eco-tourism resources in the study area. Then, on this basis, this paper applied the natural breaks (Jenks) method in GIS software to compile the spatial difference maps of Jilin Province in 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019. The research results show that, in terms of time, the ECC of eco-tourism resources in Jilin declined from 2010 to 2019, and the development was not stable during the interim ten years; in terms of space, the central region of Jilin exhibited poor ECC throughout the study period; compared with the eastern region, the western region of Jilin was slightly higher in ECC, and its spatial changes were significant.
