Measurement of the IMT using a semi-automated software (ThickSoft): A validation study

摘要
This article presents a semi-automatic software (ThickSoft) for the intima-media thickness (IMT) measurement. A brief explanation of the working characteristics of the software is introduced and the validation results are shown. The validation have been performed over the analysis of 204 images coming from 34 participants. Results obtained with ThickSoft have been compared with the manual measures of the IMT obtained with AnaliSYS(TM) software.
