On plane potential flow past a porous circular cylinder

摘要：
A mathematical model for the plane potential flow of an inviscid incompressible fluid around and through a circular cylinder of porous material is presented. The flow inside the cylinder obeys Darcy's law. The how problem is reduced to a nonlinear boundary value problem of Poincare type and this one in turn to a nonlinear infinite sytem of algebraic equations and a related nonlinear integral equation.
