Control design for nonlinear systems: trading robustness and performance with the model predictive control approach

摘要
The way in which the model predictive control approach can be used for the synthesis of a regulator with robustness and optimality properties for nonlinear discrete-time systems is described. Specifically, an H(2) optimisation problem is formulated and solved under an additional H(infinity) constraint. The control law guarantees robust stability in the face of a class of bounded disturbances and/or parameter variations while minimising a quadratic cost function.
