摘要
The processes of fuel-air mixture formation in the afterburner of a gas-turbine engine are studied. The experiments are performed with an element of the mixer with a two-phase working body having several orifices playing the role of spray injectors. The effect of the liquid-to-gas flow rate ratio, which is proportional to the air-fuel ratio, on the mixer operation is investigated. It is established that the presence of an increasing pressure field along the mixer channel leads to nonuniform flow rates of the liquid and the gas with respect to the injectors and spraying parameters.
