摘要：
XML language tends to become a standard for data exchanges between various Web applications. However, despite the big extent of the XML language, most of this applications store their information in relational databases. This fact is unlikely to be changed considering many advantages of the relational database systems like: fiability, scalability, performance and working tools. Thus, while XML language is under development, the necessity of some mechanism to publish XML documents front relational databases is obvious.
