摘要
The primary aim of this paper is to study the behaviour and shear capacity of headed stud shear connectors for composite steel-concrete beams incorporating recycled concrete. Varied coarse recycled aggregate replacement percentages and varied water to cement ratios will form the basis of the parametric studies. A total of twenty push-out specimens have been simulated via finite element modelling. From the studies, lower ultimate load capacities and higher displacements at the steel-concrete interface were observed as the replacement percentages of coarse recycled concrete aggregates increased. In addition, lower water to cement ratios observed higher ultimate load capacities and lower displacement at the steel-concrete interface when compared to higher water to cement ratios for all coarse recycled concrete aggregate replacement percentages. Among some standards, EC4 (Eurocode 2005) has proved to be the best option for being conservative in the calculation of the shear capacity of headed stud shear connectors for composite steel-concrete beams incorporating recycled concrete.
