Research and Practice on Cultivation Approach of Practical Translators Based on College-Enterprise Cooperation Model

This paper conducts mainly three surveys, including survey on the current situation of market demands for translators in Zhengzhou, survey on the present situation of translator cultivation in undergraduate universities as well as survey on non-English majors' needs and expectations for translation teaching in Sias International University. Based on the above surveys and the theoretical basis of college-enterprise model, this paper puts forward effective approaches and constructive strategies on practical translators cultivation from the aspects of cultivation goals, curriculum setting, teaching methods, teaching staff and practical training base in order to satisfy the needs of enterprises to better serve the local economy.
