Anti-inflammatory Clerodane Dinorditerpenoids from the Tinospora sinensis Leaves

摘要
Using various chromatographic methods, one new clerodane dinorditerpenoid, tinosinodanc, and fourteen known compounds, tinosposinenside C, tinosineside A, tinosineside B, violanthin, isoorientin, isovitexin, excoecarioside A, corchoionoside C, methyl 2-O-beta-D-glucopyranosylbenzoate, canthoside A, benzyl alcohol beta-D-glucoside, icariside F2, loliolide beta-D-glucopyranoside, and calendin, were isolated from the leaves of Tinospora sinensis (Lour.) Merr., Menispermaceae. Their structures were identified based on spectroscopic methods and compared with those reported in the literature. Tinosinodane showed an inhibitory effect on NO production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages with an IC50 value of 33.0 +/- 2.0 mu M. Moreover, tinosinodane significantly inhibited IL-6 and PEG-2 production.
