An E-commerce Recommender System under Grid Computing circumstance

摘要
The emergence of Grid Computing will undoubtedly bring many changes to E-commerce. As World Wide Web technologies, Grid technologies are foreseen to begin the scientific collaboration and be adopted by E-commerce later. In this paper, we bring forth a new E-commerce Recommender System working under Grid Computing circumstance. The Recommender System is divided into two parts to accomplish the recommender task: User-recommender and Server-recommender. User-recommender supports the customer to get the recommended information from the specific sites in customized way. This part manages to collect the customer's information through customer's application layer. After analyzing the information, useful data will be packed in XML documents and sent to a corresponding User information database, which is waiting for the E-commerce site's access. Server-recommender sustains the E-commerce site to recommend information for the customers. It is responsible for predicting the web information that should recommended to individuals and sent to the corresponding recommended information database. The recommended information database serves the consumers' requests.
