A theoretical analysis is made of the dispersion properties of surface waves propagating along the azimuth in magnetized cylindrical plasma waveguides. It is shown that surface oscillations of the ion component may propagate in these waveguides. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics. [S1063-7842(98)00412-7].
