Diabetes is a complex heterogeneous group of metabolic diseases that are characterized by Hyperglycemia that occurs when no longer able to produce insulin production or when unable to use insulin from the pancreas. To prevent cardiovascular disease, risk prediction models are important in clinical practice; a risk prediction model can identify people who are at high risk individually. To provide practical safe goals for reduction of cardiovascular complications and prevent cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, probably used prediction model in South Asia is WHO/ISH based on the prediction charts risk are categorized into <10%, 10-<20%, 20-<30%, 30-<40%, >40%. A prospective observational study, carried out in the Multispeciality Hospital for a period of 3months. Both males(15%) and females(15%) are at high risk, maximum number of people are at low risk are 188 females are slightly low when compared to males.Maximum People who are having Hypertension at high risk, obese people(25%) are more at low risk. Alcoholics(32%) are at high risk than smokers(19%).physical activity people are more at low risk. Study among 418 populations, based on the WHO risk prediction charts, the Conclusion of this study indicates on average 57yeras are at risk of cardiovascular complications. Absolutely ten years of Cardiovascular risk people who are having Hypertension, alcohol, and comorbidities are at high of cardiovascular disease.
