摘要：
The causes of stress in information system professionals are discussed. The streesors are categorized on the basis of their association with some factors such as training, deadlines, coworkers, job security, and user demands. Job stress can lead to burnout and turnover, costing IT organizations countless amounts in replacement costs. The SMDI can prove useful in isolating some of the stressors which affects IS employees.
