Stability survey on waste dumps

Instability phenomena occurred on a waste dump area were caused by the search of natural internal equilibrium of that recent anthropical store. Besides surface fissures and landslide movements, some local subsidence were observed above galleries and digging chambers, inducing also damages on the earth surface. Placing of topometrical marks, and survey the mowing in X,Y and Z directions is a tool for understanding waste dump in time behaviour. In this paper a method of monitoring the displacement process is described using the computer and the rules of stereographic projection.
