摘要
Micro-Grids (MG) are an optimistic technology that can maximize the reliability and economic aspects of energy supply to end consumers. Renewable based power generation is the only option for governments to solve the huge problems of power demand and emissions. This paper, particularly focuses on Wind and Photo-Voltaic (PV) based hybrid power generation. The Energy Management System (EMS) plays a major role to fulfil the load demand also it provides stable operation. Here, EMS for MG incorporating Wind and PV based on hybrid optimization technique which is named as Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA). The proposed technique is used to enhance the efficiency of the system and reduces the overall cost of the system. The simulation results show the improved performance of hybrid PSO-CSA algorithm compared with the traditional algorithm, which validates the efficacy of this optimization technique.
