摘要：

The Ideological and Moral Cultivation is a compulsory course set up in accordance with the development in China's reform and opening-up which meets the needs of moral education of Chinese college students. However, there are some inadequacies in the teaching of the course. This paper, adopting foreign theories on curriculum reform, discusses the issues involved in the course's teaching and learning, and proposes three operational suggestions for extracurricular practice teaching activities, as an attempt at the reform of the course.
