摘要
This text discusses the possibility of working with musical appreciation coming from the theoretical notions of dialogism and discourse genre proposed by the Bakhtin Circle as explanatory principles for the functioning of symbolic systems. In analogy with the linguistic discourse genres, stable types of discourse linked to aspects of everyday life, it proposes a notion of musical discourse genres, specific music types connected to specific social activity fields. This notion allows the consideration of musical production searching for the understanding of its functioning modes from the dialogues and appropriations established by them. These procedures mark the contemporaneity and they can be interesting leitmotivs in an educational work with musical appreciation. As an example of the proposed approach, it is presented the dialogical analysis of a Villa Lobos's musical piece, emphasizing one possible connection net engendered by it. At the end, as a result, some educational aspects are highlighted: the possibility of a more active participation of the students in classes and the relativization of the aesthetic values.
