Meta-analysis of hemorrhoids in the Korean literature

摘要：
To assess the trend of each period of decade in surgical treatment of hemorrhoids in Korea, meta-analysis of 66 published papers in the Korean literature over the last 30 years (1966-1995) was performed. We reviewed and analyzed them in terms of incidence, sexual and age distribution, duration of symptoms, location of pile, combined diseases, surgical options, and mode of anesthesia.
