摘要
This paper presents an analysis of single-phase Cascaded H-Bridge inverters composed of two and three cells connected in series. The dc-link can be a dc-source or a floating capacitor. Two level shifted pulse width modulation (LSPWM) techniques are given to regulate the capacitor voltage: employing a degree of freedom or redundancies. In this way, both topologies are analyzed with different dc-link ratios in terms of power distribution, for several modulation indexes and load power factors. In addition, a modified LSPWM model is proposed for the nonredundant three-stage 27 level inverter, so that control actions are imposed to smoothly regulate the capacitor voltage and thus avoid spikes and excessive ripple in the output voltage. Finally, simulation and experimental results are provided to validate the performances of the systems.
