摘要
We derive Mehler-Heine type asymptotic expansions for the Krawtchouk polynomials K-n (x; p, N) with n = O(N) and x = o(N). These formulas provide good approximations for K-n (x; p, N) and determine the asymptotic limit of their zeros as n -> infinity. (C) 2020 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
