摘要
In this paper, an attempt has been made to identify the mechanism and kinetics of the co-combustion of coal-water slurries and biomass. Utilization of biomass for energy is accomplished in several ways: by the processes of gasification, by direct combustion and by co-combustion. An important element of this work has been the identification of the complex drop morphology of coal water slurries and its evolution in the combustion process. Particular attention has been devoted to the experimental research analyzing the co-combustion process of coal-water slurries and biomass in relation to the process conditions.
