摘要：

In the 21st century, China needs compound talents of foreign language. With the development of modern information technology, it is possible for the implementation of self-learning model relying on multimedia network. This article explored the college English self-learning model according to the current situation of English teaching in China and relevant foreign language teaching theories with the attempts to improve the traditional teaching model, to provide reference for college English teaching reform, to cultivate the compound talents of foreign language in line with social development.
