ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT SITUATION OF THE LEARNING ASSESSMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION

摘要
The discussion about learning evaluation in educational institutions is not recent, especially regarding the methods used for its realization. Therefore, in light of the overall circumstances of the education system and learning mode, assessment has the ability to provide the institution with knowledge about assessment methods, pedagogical content, data related to development, performance, participation, and behavioral changes of students throughout the learning process. In this way, the idea that the only thing to be evaluated will be the student and his cognitive development is no longer appropriate. This is because learning takes place, mainly, by the sharing of ideas and information between teacher and student, in an integral way. In this way, evaluation cannot be considered only as a system of approval or disapproval of students. It should be considered as a process of qualification of the learning experience, working as a tactic for the development of a more effective planning and a more precise organization of the pedagogical activities developed by educators. In this way, the present article deals with learning evaluation in higher education. Its main objective is to analyze the methods currently used for the development of evaluation, as well as its importance for teaching. In regards to the methodological methods, the bibliographic review methodology was used, which makes it possible to understand the existing research, as well as to obtain conclusions from the proposed theme. The qualitative and descriptive methods were also used in the approach to the theme itself.
