Confirmatory study of antisocial behavior questionnaire (CCA) and its relationship with personality and antisocial behavior

Antisocial behavior includes any behavior that violates social norms and interests, being an action which is disruptive or harmful to others. Adolescence is a stage where the individual is more likely to participate in this kind of maladaptive behavior. The aim of this piece of work is to confirme the factorial structure of the Antisocial Behavior Questionnaire (CCA) and its relationships with criterial variables (IVE-J, Martorell y Silva, 1993; LCA, Martorell, Gonzalez y Aloy, 1992). The participants (n=510) are between 10 and 17 years old. The structure was confirmed by the Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The Cronbach Alpha, permitted the identification of a good internal consistency and the Pearson Correlation Coefficient was used to identify temporal stability. The convergence with personality and socialization variables was good. The CCA is made up of three factors: Aggression, Isolation, Anxiety/Withdrawal.
