摘要
Within the Dutch national remote sensing programme (BCRS NRSP), we have developed a remote sensing algorithm (SEBAL) to map heat fluxes for heterogeneous land surfaces for the project: Earth Observation System - Climate Hydrology (EOS). A set of tools has been created for processing currently available remote sensing data to derive the necessary inputs for SEBAL. These inputs include among others, surface albedo, vegetation indices, emissivity, temperature, roughness and incoming global radiation. The derived evaporative fraction (ratio of the latent heat flux to available energy) is then used as a soil moisture availability indicator in a research version numerical weather prediction (NWP) model - Regional Atmospheric Climate Model (RACMO) for weather forecasts.
