摘要：

The paper is relevant due to the importance of feminization of engineering in the situation of modern technological revolutions. The paper focuses on the root causes of the drastic changes in the content and structure of professional activity associated with the increasing dominance of the feminine factor. The authors have identified the changes in the nature and content of engineering activities in the context of modern industrial revolutions with a wide influx of women into these disciplines for professional and career self-realization. The authors have shown the most significant reasons that determine feminization of engineering activities in the contemporary context.
