Characteristics of slub fancy yarn

The basic parameters describing: structure and tensile properties of slub fancy yarn produced on the ring-twisting frame have been characterised. They differ in the twist between core yarns and nominal linear density of roving periodically introduced into the yarn. On the basis of experimental results, the functions of multiple regression have been assessed and verification of statistic hypotheses has been carried out. The important influence of the linear density of roving and twist between cores on the linear density and breaking force of slub yam has been determined.
