摘要
Various applications in science and industry demand a precise measurement of the flow rate of fluids. We are researching on a novel flow sensor principle based on ultrasonic beamforming. For this the precise knowledge of the emitted acoustic field is key. To test the acoustic field of the used ultrasonic phased array we build a measurement setup which can scan a defined volume of interest with a spatial resolution 0.1 degrees mm The measurement is performed with the help of an optical microphone.
