摘要
In the conventional multi-phase motor drive system, each motor powered by a inverter. So when we need more motors, more devices are needed for the drive system and occupy large space. However, the series multi-motor technology solves this problem well. For the realization of two permanent magnet synchronous motor series connected, working principle of multi-phase PMSM are discussed in detail. The system of six-phase PMSM and three-phase series connected is used for study. According to certain series rules, a symmetrical six-phase PMSM connect a symmetrical three-phase PMSM in series is achieved. Using coordinate transformation theory,we demonstrating the process of establishing two-motor series model and the working principle of serial drive system. Two motors powered by a voltage source inverter and the motor can be achieved on independent vector control. With the help of Matlab/simulink, simulation of series system with two motors is obtained which mainly considered the operation situation of one motor, when the speed and torque of anther motor is change. And then the feasibility of the whole system is proved.
