Make the most of your November downtime

Beekeeping like all agricultural pursuits is cyclic by nature. By this time, most beekeepers in the northern climates have finished for the year. (Operations in the south are still rolling along and operate on a different schedule, but much of what I will discuss in this article applies to them, too!) Many beekeepers shut the light on their beekeeping this month, but they really don't have to. There are many things you can do this month that will help you and your bees next season. This article discusses some of the things you can do to fill your time and still be active with your bees.
