摘要：

Ascomycetes and their anamorphs collected during an expedition in 1995 to Papua New Guinea are reported. Many species are reported for the first time from the area or even from the southern hemisphere. The following new taxa are described: Leptocucurthis quadrata Aptroot gen. et sp. nov. (Dacampiaceae), Lirellodisca pyrenulospora Aptroot gen. et sp. nov. (Patellariales?), Mycowinteria muriformis Aptroot sp. nov., Myelosperma gigasporum Aptroot sp. nov., Navicella pallida Aptroot sp. nov., and Periconiella papuana Aptroot sp. nov.
