摘要
As China's aging population intensifies, the growing health and wellness needs of the elderly in urban China are rapidly increasing. Some villages with good climatic conditions and ecological resources have spontaneously formed a new type of rural health tourism industry to serve the urban elderly. The new industry uses the comfortable ecological environment and climate resources in the countryside to attract elderly tourists from surrounding cities to stay seasonally. The industry promotes the return of urban resources to the countryside and the revitalization of the countryside. The industry is gradually developing and growing, but policy research on it is very limited. In this article, Chinese laws, regulations, standards, and norms that support the development of this industry are systematically sorted out. The status quo of China's policies supporting the development of this industry has been fully demonstrated. Policy adjustment suggestions to promote the sustained and high-quality development of this industry are proposed. The research results provide policy reference for other countries in the world that develop this industry.
