摘要
This work presents a multi-objective optimization model to assist in the design of solar assisted sea water reverse osmosis (RO) systems with economic and environmental concerns. The environmental performance is measured using the global warming potential (GWP) indicator. The model proposed is applied to the design of a solar assisted sea water reverse osmosis plant that must satisfy a given water demand. Weather data consider the variation of the solar radiation throughout the day and the time of the year.
