摘要
Influence of Fiber Orientation, Temperature and Moisture on the Fatigue Behavior of Injection Molded Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics. Because of the importance of lightweight constructions, nowadays short fiber reinforced plastic more and more substitutes components, which are made of metal so far. For the dimensioning of dynamically loaded components concerning the fatigue life, knowledge about S-N curves is necessary, which are strongly dependent on fiber orientation, temperature, moisture and other influences. A lot of specimen tests have been performed as part of a research project. For fatigue life prediction, methods have been developed and a simulation process has been established, which takes into account the fiber orientation and distribution as result from a molding simulation. The new analysis method and simulation process have been verified with component tests so far.
