摘要：
Mountain torrent is harm to people's lives and property, and early warning must be published to reduce loss on casualties. This paper studies mountain torrent disaster prevention early warning system based on WebGIS, databases, and computer network technologies. Firstly we describe system architecture and subsystems, and then give the detail introduction of subsystems. Mountain torrent disaster prevention early warning platform based on WebGIS in Chongzhou city was developed, and it can provide timely disaster information for the related department to help make a scientific decision.
