摘要：

With the development of Internet technology, web-based teaching has been the focus of reform in college English. By comparative study of the experimental class using network platform and traditional teaching model, this paper studies the different outcomes and student satisfaction under two different teaching models. The results show that, after a year of study, student achievement testing on the two different classes does not reveal significant difference. As for student satisfaction, students' evaluation on traditional teaching model is higher than that of web-based teaching. This paper also summarizes and analyzes the teaching experience based on network, and puts forward suggestions for future development in web-based teaching.
