摘要
The present paper deals with applying of surge protective devices (SPD) for protection of air-insulated substation's low voltage networks. Key point in application of SPD in substation low-voltage networks is the estimation of lightning current distribution between the different communications of the object of interest. The measurement and calculation results of pulse current distribution between grounding and cable line at limitation of lightning strike in searchlight tower, combined with lightning rod, had been presented. Real-life field measurements have been conducted on training range of "Lenenergo" JSC. Value estimation of lightning current, flowing through SPD, installed on a light control switchboard, is given. The requirements for pulse current amplitude of SPDs have been defined. The general approaches to organizing substation light network protection from pulse overvoltage had been described.
