摘要
Based on the curvature mode and flexibility curvature, the multiple damage detection of the first step modal parameter to one cantilever steel beam and one simple steel beam with same damage at different location in different numerical computing cases are calculated by using the result of modal analysis. The result shows that multiple damage positions of variable section beam can be precisely detected only with the first step modal parameter under the condition of complete testing information. In incomplete testing information condition, as long as certain testing information exists in damage area, the result of multiple damage detection can be obtained as well.
