摘要
Batch sorption of four metal ions, viz. Cr(III), Cu(II), Ag(I) and Cd(II), onto an unconventional cellulosic substrate, namely hemp fibers, has been studied. The monolayer sorption capacity is of 367.124, 1157.407, 89.180 and 140.313 ing x g(-1) hemp for chromium(III), copper(II), silver(l) and cadmium(II) ions, respectively, at 18(0). Equilibrium data have been analyzed using the Langmuir and Freundlich. isotherm modes. The following relative affinity of cations sorption on natural hemp: Cu(II)>Cr(III)>Cd(II)>Ag(I) has been established.
